26 May meeting RC cars & planes – note location

TDARS is having an meet-up at an alternative location near Longdon Upon Tern.

John M0JZH has organised for the club to get together for an evening of radio controlled cars and planes starting at 7.30pm – talk in on 144.6MHz

The May 26 socially distanced meeting at the meeting place of the Telford Model Aero Club not far from Longdon upon Tern. 
The what3words location is salsa.butter.florists which will take you right to the entrance of the field.  If you do not use the app then please check out ///salsa.butter.florists which will show you where we are.

For those of you who are familiar with the area, head on the road from the Princess Royal Hospital from Telford towards the Toby Carvery (Shawbirch Roundabout) and turn left, carry on over the island by the Woolpack pub, and then take the next right hand turn towards High Ercall.  As you enter through to Longden upon Turn there is a hump back bridge that you should defer to the traffic heading towards Telford, immediately over the bridge there is a lane to the left – take this turn. 

Follow the lane all the way down to the bottom (do not turn off this road) where you well come across a right hand 90 degree bend, and keep on the road (do not go straight on down to the farm!).  A short while on from this, there is a turn to the left with a junction to the right, take this right hand turn and carry on up this lane for about 1/4 mile and you should see an orange windsock on the left hand side – keep an eye on this because this is where we will be meeting.
